If republicans didn't have double standards, they wouldn't have any standards at all.

I think Republicans are realizing that they don't in fact have the most gun owners in this country and that scares the hell out of them.

When you factor in the actual size of each voter group, Independents represent the largest total number of gun owners in the United States, and combined with Democrats, they make up a clear majority (roughly 60%) of all individual gun owners.

Republicans have a higher percentage of gun ownership within the group but they're only 27% of the population.

They aimed them at people, including children

Republicans don't recognize their hypocrisy because they're never treated in kind by the opposition, so they never face consequences to the precedents that they set.

folks, this was never about them using double standards. or about it being unfair that they demand their right to carry weapons on one hand, and at the same time accuse pretti of carrying a weapon. it was never about that. they’re fascists who want to force their ideology through. and they don’t care about anything in the process.

They and Riddenhouse didn't bring them to the protest. They brought them against the protest.

they didn't just "bring weapons" like pretti, they BRANDISHED. they pointed at, and threatened protesters passing by. i know OP is trying to help, but really its so much worse than the title suggests.
